Attending the program were two Deputy Directors of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Tien Giang province, Vo Pham Tan and Nguyen Thi Kim Chi; Dr. Duong Duc Minh, Deputy Director of the Institute for Economic and Tourism Development Research; and about 100 trainees who are officials, civil servants and public employees from departments, offices and units under the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Tien Giang province.

The program took place in the morning and afternoon of April 18, aiming to raise awareness and professional skills in reception and diplomacy for officials, civil servants and public employees of the Culture, Sports and Tourism sector to better serve local political events, meeting the requirements of international integration. At the same time, sharing knowledge and practical experience in communication and behavioral skills; organizing and welcoming delegations in serving political events. Thereby, contributing to building the image and creating a good impression on guests when attending local events.

The training program includes: Providing practical skills; preparing receptionist etiquette at political and cultural events; practicing reception, communication, situation handling and team coordination skills in event organization; directly practicing the entire receptionist work process from preparing to seeing off guests in a specific event; preparing to welcome guests such as arranging name tags and documents; greeting skills according to etiquette; standing posture, eye contact; guiding guests to the correct seating area; handling situations where guests arrive early, late, or are not on the list...

Speaking at the program, Mr. Vo Pham Tan, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Tien Giang province, hoped that today's reception training program would equip cadres, civil servants and public employees with basic and specialized knowledge of reception work; foster skills in organizing receptions, arranging delegates, conducting ceremonies, and handling practical situations arising in events and festivals.
