Continuing the flow of culture and history

From June 6th to June 8th, the photo exhibition "Journey to the Source" by photographer Tran The Phong will be held at the Ho Chi Minh City Book Street, commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Southern Vietnam and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) and the 100th anniversary of the Vietnamese Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2025).

Featuring 50 photographs taken and selected from March 2019 to December 2023, spanning the country from Dien Bien Phu, Cao Bang, Ha Giang to Ca Mau Cape, the exhibition takes viewers back in time to admire images imbued with historical value, national identity, and the tradition of revolutionary journalism.

"Through this exhibition, I hope to convey to the people, especially the younger generation, a sense of pride in our national roots and traditions. These sacred historical values ​​have never been forgotten," shared photographer Tran The Phong.

A delegation of officials from the Ho Chi Minh City Propaganda, Press, and Publishing sectors participated in the "Journey Through the Northwest Region" and laid wreaths at the A1 National Martyrs' Cemetery in Dien Bien province (December 2023).

The "Journey to the Source in March at the Border" delegation took a commemorative photo at the memorial temple for the heroic martyrs of the Vi Xuyen Front (468 Memorial), Ha Giang province (March 2019).
