Support businesses in technological innovation

Thanks to the timely support of 300 million VND from the national industrial promotion project, Tru Lanh Import-Export Trading Company Limited, Loc Hiep Commune, Loc Ninh District, invested in purchasing a Meyer cashew sorting machine with a capacity of 4-6 tons/hour, with a total cost of 1.7 billion VND. Mr. Nguyen Duc Tru, Director of the company, said: With automatic technology, the Meyer cashew sorting machine has helped the company reduce costs by saving time and labor, ensuring labor safety. At the same time, it contributes to improving productivity and product quality, meeting the needs of domestic and foreign markets. Currently, the company's cashew products meet export standards.

After investing in automatic metal detectors from the support fund of the industrial promotion project, Ngoc Tuan Production - Trade - Import - Export Company Limited, Thong Nhat Commune, Bu Dang District has achieved ISO 22000 and HACCP standards, thereby increasing its competitiveness in the market.

Mr. Ngoc Quang Tan, Director of the company, said that in recent years, the production and business situation of the cashew industry has encountered many difficulties due to the increase in input materials, while the consumption market has decreased sharply. Therefore, completing machinery and equipment, factories, ensuring food hygiene and safety, and increasing competitiveness in the market are vital factors for the company. Mr. Tan said that after receiving financial support from the province's industrial promotion project, the company invested in and upgraded a new generation of automatic metal detectors. Although the investment capital increased, in return, the company reduced labor costs, improved product quality and achieved certificates such as ISO 22000, HACCP, thereby increasing its competitiveness in the market.

Trade support - market connection

To effectively implement industrial promotion projects, every year, the Provincial Center for Industrial Promotion and Industrial Development Consulting has proactively coordinated and worked with the economic and infrastructure departments of districts, towns and cities to review rural industrial establishments (CNNT), synthesize and develop plans to implement the assigned industrial promotion budget. At the same time, connect units to participate in domestic industrial and trade fairs to promote and introduce products to promote trade, connect and find markets for product consumption, help establishments have the right investment direction, expand production, business, and invest in sustainable development.

In 2024, Binh Phuoc will have 32 products recognized as typical IT products at the provincial level, and 15 typical IT products at the Southern region level.

Ms. Vo Thi Hien, owner of Co Hai clean pepper production facility, Dak O commune, Bu Gia Map district, shared: The participation of clean pepper production facilities and enterprises in domestic and foreign trade promotion fairs not only helps enterprises display, introduce and sell their products but also participate in a series of seminars, training, propaganda, transfer of new science and technology, and link to purchase products to find partners to expand the consumption market.

In the period of 2020-2024, from the national and local industrial promotion funds, the center has supported 40 local IT establishments to apply new machinery and technology equipment, replacing manual labor with modern machinery and equipment, while improving production capacity, product quality, and reducing production costs. From the support fund of the 2024 industrial promotion project, Binh Phuoc has 32 products certified as typical IT products at the provincial level by the Provincial People's Committee, and 15 products certified as typical IT products at the Southern region level by the local Department of Industry and Trade.

At the same time, increase mobilized funding sources, integrate national and local industrial promotion funding sources to implement pilot projects. Encourage businesses to develop in the direction of improving product quality, meeting the increasing needs of consumers, and being environmentally friendly, in order to expand and maintain the consumer market, contributing to the construction of new rural areas in the province.
