Continue to implement the project "Building Da Nang - Environmental City"

DNO - The People's Committee of Da Nang City has just issued Plan No. 171/KH-UBND to implement the project "Building Da Nang - Environmental City" in 2025 to continue effectively implementing the project in the period of 2021-2030 approved by the City People's Committee; integrating relevant contents of the Law on Environmental Protection 2020 and the National Environmental Protection Strategy to ensure the implementation roadmap in the city.

Accordingly, the plan sets out the task of organizing and implementing activities in 2025 according to 4 key content groups in Decision No. 1099/QD-UBND dated April 2, 2021 of the City People's Committee, including: preventing and controlling environmental pollution; improving the environment, solving key and urgent environmental issues; conserving nature and biodiversity; strengthening capacity, raising awareness of environmental protection.

At the same time, organize an assessment of the implementation results of the project "Building Da Nang - Environmental City" for the period 2021-2025; propose appropriate adjustments to the project in the new period; organize a meeting to appraise the budget and plan of the project for 2026.

The City People's Committee requests the City Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and its member organizations, social organizations, and professional social organizations to continue promoting their roles and responsibilities, being proactive and creative, actively implementing movements and activities on environmental protection, contributing to the effective implementation of the tasks in this plan.

Departments, branches, sectors, People's Committees of wards and communes proactively develop plans and implement assigned tasks to ensure progress, quality and efficiency; evaluate, review and specifically report the results of criteria suitable to the management tasks of the sector, field and unit.

The City People's Committee assigned the Department of Agriculture and Environment to be the focal agency, advising on the implementation of the plan, guiding and urging the implementation of the plan to ensure quality, efficiency and progress; annually synthesize and evaluate the results of the plan implementation, and report to the City People's Committee according to regulations...
