At noon on May 17, Thuy Xuan Ward Police, Thuan Hoa District, Hue City said that they received information from Phu Hoi Ward Police that Mr. Kelly Grant Norman (born in 1958, New Zealand nationality, suffering from Parkinson's disease, showing signs of dementia) left the Moonlight Boutique Hotel (where he stayed with relatives in Phu Hoi Ward) at 1:00 p.m. on May 16 and lost contact with his relatives.

Thuy Xuan Ward Police quickly deployed forces to search the entire area and widely announced the identity to the people to coordinate the search.
With the urgent, responsible and humane intervention of Thuy Xuan Ward Police and the active support of the people, at 6:00 a.m. on May 17, Mr. Kelly Grant Norman was found safe in Thuy Xuan Ward.
Currently, Thuy Xuan Ward Police have discussed and coordinated with Phu Hoi Ward Police and the hotel where he resided to bring him safely back to his relatives on the morning of May 17.
