The family of Ms. Nong Thi Hang, Phuc Hung village, Luong Thien commune, Son Duong district, received a loan of 100 million VND under the program for newly escaped poverty households of the Social Policy Bank, Tuyen Quang branch. From the loan, Ms. Hang's family invested in renovating barns, raising buffaloes for breeding and planting acacia trees to develop the economy. Thanks to proper care, the two buffaloes are fat and have given birth to calves. At the same time, the family's acacia hills are also green and growing well, creating motivation and hope for a better economy. Ms. Hang emotionally shared: "Many people in the village and hamlet also have access to loans from the Social Policy Bank. This is a meaningful source of capital, with low interest rates, creating favorable conditions for families to confidently invest in economic development. With capital and confidence, we are more determined to overcome difficulties, strive to build a more stable life every day." In Soi Ha village, Xuan Van commune, Yen Son district, the pomelo gardens with the Soi Ha brand that have been exported to the UK are being meticulously and enthusiastically cared for by the people, because this is the main source of income, and also the way each person strives to develop the economy and contribute to their homeland. The policy credit capital has become a solid foundation, adding motivation for people to boldly invest in crops considered to be the strength of the locality. Mr. Loc Van Nguyen, a pomelo grower in the village, said: “My family was able to borrow 50 million VND from the Social Policy Bank, and has devoted all their efforts and capital to taking care of the pomelo trees, making sure the fruit is of good quality to ensure export abroad. Thanks to the loan, people have more opportunities to invest in the products they have been attached to for many years. From there, they are more determined to affirm the Soi Ha pomelo brand.” In addition to providing direct support to poor households and other policy beneficiaries, capital from the Social Policy Bank also plays an important role in completing the new rural criteria in localities. Many loans have been used for practical purposes, improving the quality of life for people such as building and upgrading clean water and environmental sanitation facilities, developing sustainable production models, and creating jobs for workers. Mr. Le Hong Viet, Chairman of the People's Committee of Xuan Van Commune, Yen Son District, said: “Currently, Xuan Van Commune has established 27 savings and loan groups, with 838 households in the commune accessing loans with a debt balance of more than 51 billion VND. The capital is used for the right purposes, focusing on the fields of cultivation, animal husbandry, household economic development, etc. Many effective production models have been formed, helping people increase their income, gradually escaping poverty sustainably. Not only bringing practical benefits to each borrowing household, the policy credit capital flow also creates positive changes in the socio-economic development of the locality. The poverty rate has decreased year by year, and people's lives have been significantly improved. Therefore, the policy capital is becoming an important driving force to help Xuan Van achieve the goals of building advanced new rural areas, bringing a new look to the countryside."
