News, pepper price forecast tomorrow 7/26/2025
Domestic pepper price on July 26, 2025
According to the trading session on July 28, 2025, the domestic pepper market continued to fluctuate little and remained flat compared to the trading session at the end of last week. Domestic pepper prices were maintained at 136,000 - 138,000 VND/kg.
Many experts believe that the decline in domestic pepper output is pushing Vietnam to increase imports sharply to ensure supply for processing and export activities. Data from the Vietnam Pepper and Spice Association (VPSA) shows that in the first 6 months of 2025, Vietnam imported 28,296 tons of pepper, reaching a turnover of 174 million USD, up 57% in volume and 150% in value compared to the same period in 2024. The fact that pepper prices in Brazil and Indonesia are significantly lower than domestic prices is a factor that makes many Vietnamese businesses prioritize imports for processing and re-export.
Therefore, it is expected that on July 26, 2025, domestic pepper prices may continue to remain stable, moving sideways in the price range of 136,000 - 138,000 VND/kg, reflecting the recorded trend.
