MU raises price to buy Araujo

According to Spanish media, Barcelona has just received the latest offer from MU for center-back Ronald Araujo.

MU has paid special attention to Araujo and is looking to recruit the Uruguayan player in this summer's transfer window.

Barca recently renewed Araujo's contract. However, with financial difficulties, Blaugrana are ready to sell the 26-year-old player if the price is right.

Bayern Munich have also recently considered taking Araujo to replace Kim Min Jae. Therefore, MU raised the offer to 80 million euros to convince officials at the Camp Nou office - who are disappointed with the 26-year-old center back after the 3-4 loss to Inter and the Champions League elimination.

Liverpool inquire about Dumfries

After Trent Alexander-Arnold announced his departure, Liverpool also started looking for a replacement, with the target being Denzel Dumfries - Barca's nightmare with 2 assists to help Inter win 4-3, reaching the Champions League final.

Coach Arne Slot is a big fan of his compatriot Dumfries. The Dutch international is a complete package in attack and defence and, like Alexander-Arnold, often stands out in big games.

Dumfries' contract runs until 2028. However, the 29-year-old could opt to leave if Liverpool offer him a higher salary - he currently earns €5.9m.

According to sources close to Dumfries from Italy and the Netherlands, Liverpool are considering making an official offer of 40 million euros. However, Inter are likely to only agree to negotiate after the FIFA Club World Cup.
