Ca Mau Province honors 32 students with high achievements in the High School Graduation Exam

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Ta Thanh Vu, Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training of Ca Mau province, said that the 2025 High School Graduation Exam has a special meaning, because this is not only the final assessment exam of 12 years of studying but also a milestone marking a new journey of the two administrative units of Ca Mau and Bac Lieu officially merging into Ca Mau province. This event has opened a new development stage with many expectations and aspirations of the education sector in the journey of innovation and integration.

In this year's exam, Ca Mau province had a graduation pass rate of 99.37%, higher than the national average and ranked 2nd in the Mekong Delta region.

Of these, 27 schools achieved a 100% graduation rate. This demonstrates the close and comprehensive direction of the entire political system and the efforts of the entire education sector of Ca Mau province. Among the 32 students honored, many come from remote, isolated, and disadvantaged areas, but with the spirit of overcoming difficulties, they have risen to acquire knowledge and conquer new heights in their education.

Notably, there were two students who came in first in the province at the exam, namely Vo Truong Gia Huan, Bac Lieu High School for the Gifted, with 37.5 points, and Nguyen Ngoc Gia Bao, Phan Ngoc Hien High School for the Gifted, with 36.75 points.

Nguyen Ngoc Gia Bao shared that when he received the announcement of the exam results, his emotions were hard to describe. It was an explosion of joy and happiness after many months of hard work studying and training. This result is not only his own achievement but also a testament to the continuous efforts and struggles of teachers, students, and family who have always accompanied him.

“Being recognized at today's ceremony is a great joy and motivation for me to be determined to study well in the next stage, become a useful person for society, and later contribute to building my homeland and country, worthy of the expectations of my family, teachers and society,” Gia Bao said.
