Ha Nam Provincial Youth Union works with the working delegation of the Ministry of Social Security and Development of Thailand

On the morning of February 24, Ha Nam Provincial Youth Union received and worked with the delegation of the Ministry of Social Security and Development of Thailand who visited, exchanged and shared experiences in Ha Nam.

Receiving and working with the delegation was comrade Tran Ngoc Nam, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, Chairman of the Vietnam Youth Union of Ha Nam province. At the program, Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union Tran Ngoc Nam gave an overview of the socio -economic situation and potential advantages of Ha Nam province to the delegation. The Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union emphasized: In the general development, Ha Nam always pays special attention to social security issues for the community life. Many social security and relief packages have been deployed to businesses affected by the Covid-19 pandemic and affected by objective conditions to recover, care for and support people in difficult circumstances, vulnerable people in society... Those results all have the positive contributions of the team of union officials, union members and youth of Ha Nam province.

Currently, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Ha Nam province has nearly 40,000 members, more than 200,000 young people and 147,000 children. The Youth Union always implements many programs and activities to accompany and develop union members, young people and children. In particular, typical activities are activities to support young people to start businesses, establish businesses, develop economic models, innovative startup ecosystems and digital transformation. Pay attention to and develop children, and strengtheneducational activities outside of school. These activities have contributed positively to the development of society.

Ms. Bhawini Sumoltri, youth expert, Head of the Delegation of the Ministry of Social Security and Development of Thailand sincerely thanked the Ha Nam Provincial Youth Union for the warm welcome to the delegation. Ms. Bhawini Sumoltri expressed her impression of the socio-economic development of Ha Nam province, as well as the potential for tourism development with beautiful landscapes that the delegation had visited and admired. Through the working program, the Delegation of the Ministry of Social Security and Development of Thailand exchanged and learned from the experiences and good models of the Ha Nam Provincial Youth Union in implementing social security policies, child care, etc.

Through the working trip of the delegation of the Ministry of Social Security and Development of Thailand, Ha Nam Provincial Youth Union hopes that the two sides will exchange experiences in promoting the role of the Youth Union in implementing social security programs and policies, contributing to the socio-economic development of the locality, as well as actively contributing to the good development of the diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Thailand.

At the meeting, the leaders of Ha Nam Provincial Youth Union discussed and answered questions that the delegation of the Ministry of Social Security and Development of Thailand was interested in, such as: management work, methods of propaganda to prevent social evils, reproductive health education for adolescents, care for vulnerable children in society, etc.

Within the framework of the working program, the delegation of the Ministry of Social Security and Development of Thailand visited, exchanged experiences and participated in cultural and artistic exchanges with teachers and students of Bien Hoa High School for the Gifted.
