Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Khanh Hoa province: Meeting with officers and soldiers directly fighting on the battlefield of Khanh Hoa province

On April 1, the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Khanh Hoa province solemnly held a meeting with officers and soldiers of the armed forces who directly fought on the battlefield of Khanh Hoa province on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Khanh Hoa province (April 2, 1975 - April 2, 2025) and the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025). Attending the meeting were Mr. Nghiem Xuan Thanh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Nguyen Khac Toan - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Provincial Party Agencies; Mr. Nguyen Tan Tuan - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee; Ms. Tran Thu Mai - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Provincial Party Agencies; Mr. Le Huu Tho - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department; Ms. Pham Thi Xuan Trang - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Mr. Dinh Van Thieu - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Mr. Le Huu Tri - Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; former provincial leaders of all periods; Heroic Vietnamese Mother Le Thi Minh Thuy, Hero of the People's Armed Forces Phan Nhan and nearly 300 veterans who directly fought to liberate Khanh Hoa province from provinces and cities across the country.

At the meeting, the delegates reviewed the glorious historical tradition of the nation and of Khanh Hoa in the resistance war against the US to save the country. Accordingly, exactly 50 years ago, under the leadership of the Party, the army and people of Khanh Hoa together with the main units of the Ministry of National Defense , Military Region 5, with iron determination, intelligence, creativity, courage, and steadfastness, fought bravely, won a great victory, liberating Khanh Hoa province on April 2, 1975. Thereby, creating a strategic turning point, of decisive significance in the campaign to liberate the South and unify the country. The victory on April 2, 1975 left extremely valuable historical lessons, an event of special significance for the Party Committee, government, army and people of Khanh Hoa in the cause of protecting, building and developing the homeland.

Speaking at the meeting, on behalf of the provincial leaders, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tan Tuan expressed his deep gratitude to the Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, People's Armed Forces Heroes, former provincial leaders of all periods; cadres and soldiers who directly fought to liberate Khanh Hoa province. Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tan Tuan affirmed that the contributions and sacrifices of cadres, soldiers and people for the Fatherland in general and Khanh Hoa in particular will never fade, forever be the guiding light, the source of motivation for future generations to continue and promote. The Party Committee, government and people of Khanh Hoa province are always proud and grateful to the generations of fathers and brothers who have been and are fighting side by side, together with the Party Committee, government and people of the province, to fight and win in the cause of protecting and building the homeland; Together with the Party Committee, government and people of Khanh Hoa, overcome all difficulties and challenges, successfully achieve the goals and targets for socio -economic development in 2025 and the following period. Thereby, creating a solid foundation for Khanh Hoa to enter the decade of enhanced development, contributing to bringing a beautiful, prosperous and happy life to the people...
