International Medical Relief provides free medical treatment to 200 patients

Nearly 200 patients came to receive free medical examinations and medicine within the framework of the program. Patients were also advised by doctors from IMR and Vinh Duc General Hospital on rehabilitation exercises, treatment, and health care at home and in the community.

Mr. Tran Cong An - Director of Vinh Duc General Hospital said: “The hospital appreciates and is grateful for the meaningful program that IMR brings. Through the program, the hospital's medical staff has learned many valuable experiences and improved their foreign language skills in the medical field. We hope that in the future there will be more international cooperation for the health benefits of patients.”

IMR is a US-based non-profit organization that provides health care to vulnerable and underserved populations by recruiting volunteer health care professionals and physicians. Each year, the organization sends approximately 150 volunteer physicians to other countries to provide medical assistance.
