On September 16, at the Presidential Palace, the Office of the President coordinated with the Supreme People's Procuracy (SPP) to organize a ceremony to announce and present the President's decision to appoint the Deputy Chief Prosecutor of the SPP.
On behalf of the Party and State leaders, General Secretary and President To Lam presented the decision to appoint Mr. Ho Duc Anh, Prosecutor of the Supreme People's Procuracy, Director of the Department of Prosecution and Investigation of Economic Cases, to hold the position of Deputy Chief Prosecutor of the Supreme People's Procuracy.

Congratulating Mr. Ho Duc Anh on being trusted and appointed to the position of Deputy Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Procuracy, General Secretary and President To Lam affirmed that this is an honor and pride for all cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers of the People's Procuracy at all levels and the new Deputy Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Procuracy himself.
The General Secretary and President stated that in the Vietnamese State apparatus, the People's Procuracy has an extremely important position, role and task in protecting the law, protecting human rights, citizens' rights, protecting the socialist regime, protecting the interests of the State, and the legitimate rights and interests of organizations and individuals, contributing to ensuring that the law is strictly and uniformly enforced.

To successfully complete his new position, General Secretary and President To Lam asked Mr. Ho Duc Anh to continue to cultivate his political mettle, be absolutely loyal to the Party, the Fatherland and the people; maintain revolutionary ethics and professional ethics; be exemplary in complying with and strictly implementing the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws; be united, unified and closely attached to cadres, civil servants, public employees, workers, People's Procuracy at all levels and the people.

The General Secretary and President believes that the new Deputy Chief Prosecutor of the Supreme People's Procuracy will continue to promote the glorious tradition of the prosecution sector, strive to excellently fulfill assigned tasks, and be worthy of the trust of the Party, State, people, cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers.
In his acceptance speech, Mr. Ho Duc Anh expressed his gratitude to the Party, the State and General Secretary and President To Lam for entrusting him with the new responsibility; affirming that this is an honor and pride as well as an extremely great responsibility before the Party, the State and the people.
The new Deputy Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Procuracy affirmed that he will devote all his mind and strength to performing well the functions and tasks of the sector under the leadership of the Party, the provisions of the Constitution and the law, contributing to meeting the expectations of the Party, the State and the people in the new period.
