At the survey of the planned construction site of Ninh Thuan 1 Nuclear Power Plant, Mr. Trinh Minh Hoang, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, quickly reported on the current status of land use in the project area; reported on the planning of component projects of Ninh Thuan 1 Nuclear Power Plant. Accordingly, the total planned construction area of Ninh Thuan 1 and 2 Nuclear Power Plants is 1,642.22 hectares; for Ninh Thuan 1 Nuclear Power Plant alone, the construction area is 883.68 hectares, of which the land area is 443.11 hectares, the sea area is 440.57 hectares; there are 477 households/2,084 people subject to resettlement to implement the project. During the project implementation process up to now, the province has carried out compensation, site clearance, resettlement and resettlement for Ninh Thuan 1 Nuclear Power Plant on an area of 479 hectares and implemented 10 component projects for resettlement. To stabilize people's production and life and develop residential areas in the planned locations of Ninh Thuan 1 Nuclear Power Plant, from central and local budgets, the province has implemented 6 construction items with a total cost of 193 billion VND.

Speaking at the survey, General Secretary To Lam requested Ninh Thuan province to focus on closely following the central government's direction and guidance and support from ministries and branches to prepare well the conditions for restarting the Ninh Thuan nuclear power project. In particular, it is necessary to proactively focus on implementing compensation and site clearance; urgently invest in essential infrastructure, arrange resettlement areas, and production land to stabilize the lives of people affected by the project. At the same time, it is necessary to step up propaganda and dissemination work to create high consensus and unity among cadres, party members and people of all walks of life during the implementation process.

Visiting and surveying the Ca Na General Port project, General Secretary To Lam highly appreciated the planning and investment of Ca Na General Port; at the same time, he emphasized that with appropriate investment and development orientation, in the future, Ca Na General Port will have great room for development, creating a driving force contributing to the socio-economic development of the locality. General Secretary To Lam suggested that Ninh Thuan province and the investor continue to mobilize investment resources to develop Ca Na General Port into a large-scale deep-water port, not only serving Ninh Thuan but also Binh Thuan and the Southern Central Highlands region. General Secretary To Lam assigned the Ministry of Planning and Investment to promptly complete the assessment of the planning of Ca Na Industrial Park and submit it to the Government for early approval, creating conditions for Ninh Thuan province to develop the key economic zone in the South.
At Phuoc Dinh Kindergarten, Son Hai 1 village, Phuoc Dinh commune (Thuan Nam), the General Secretary presented a symbolic plaque to donate the multi-purpose building and auxiliary items to the school's Board of Directors; and pressed the button to start the project. It is known that the project was donated by General Secretary To Lam from the Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group, with nearly 12 billion VND, including the following items: Multi-purpose building, classrooms, auxiliary items and teaching and learning equipment.

The project has an important meaning for the locality in general and Phuoc Dinh Kindergarten in particular, both ensuring better learning conditions for children, expanding the scale of receiving more children of the local age who have not yet gone to school and improving the quality of preschool education; while ensuring the conditions and criteria to meet the level 2 standards as prescribed.

At Bau Truc pottery village, Phuoc Dan town (Ninh Phuoc), General Secretary To Lam listened to local leaders report on the socio-economic situation and people's lives in Ninh Phuoc district in general and Bau Truc pottery village in particular; at the same time, he presented 20 gifts to 20 Cham people who are poor households, disadvantaged households, and policy families in the craft village, each gift worth 2 million VND, encouraging them to continue promoting the tradition of solidarity, taking care of economic development, preserving the national cultural identity and getting rich from traditional crafts.
