The General Director of ICO will deliver a welcoming speech at the opening ceremony recognizing "Buon Ma Thuot as the land of Robusta coffee" and participate in several key activities of the festival.
This is the first time an international representative has attended the Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival, marking a significant step in raising the profile of Vietnamese coffee on the world map.
The fact that a prestigious organization like the ICO is paying special attention to the festival shows the increasingly important role of Vietnamese coffee in the global supply chain. This is also a great opportunity for the Vietnamese coffee industry to expand cooperation with international organizations and markets.
Ms. Vanusia Noguiera's presence will attract a large number of diplomatic delegations, agricultural organizations, industry associations, coffee businesses, and international press.

According to Nguyen Tuan Ha, Standing Vice Chairman of the Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee and Head of the Organizing Committee for the 9th Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival in 2025, this year's festival has many new, outstanding elements, demonstrating creativity and international integration.
This event not only contributes to promoting Buon Ma Thuot coffee but also affirms Vietnam's position on the world coffee map, with Buon Ma Thuot considered the "coffee capital of Vietnam," the home of the world's best Robusta coffee beans, "creating a global boom."
Buon Ma Thuot Robusta coffee is currently exported to more than 100 countries and territories, and is popular in major coffee-consuming countries such as Germany, Italy, China, the United States, Japan, Spain, and Indonesia.
The International Coffee Organization (ICO), established in 1963, currently has 49 member countries (75 countries), including 42 producing countries and 7 importing countries. ICO member countries account for 98% of the world's coffee production and 63% of global coffee consumption.
