General Director of Song Ba Ha Hydropower Plant works with authorities

Before the general director and some key managers worked with the authorities, the Board of Directors of Song Ba Ha Hydropower assigned a series of temporary personnel to run the departments, and at the same time assigned the Chairman of the Board of Directors to temporarily lead.

On November 29, the Board of Directors (BOD) of Ba Ha River Hydropower Joint Stock Company issued a Resolution "Approving the temporary personnel plan to manage the activities of Ba Ha River Hydropower Joint Stock Company".

Accordingly, the Board of Directors temporarily assigned Mr. Nguyen Dinh Vu, Deputy Head of Technical - Safety Department, to perform the task of managing and operating the department's activities while the department head participates in working with the authorities.

During this time, Mr. Nguyen Hong Viet, Head of Planning - Materials Department, former Head of Technical - Safety Department, proactively coordinated and supported Mr. Nguyen Dinh Vu in the management and handling of technical - safety related tasks, especially tasks related to the Operation Procedure of Song Ba Ha Hydropower Reservoir and the Operation Procedure of inter-reservoirs in the Ba River basin.

In addition, the Board of Directors also temporarily assigned Mr. Nguyen Thanh Lam, Deputy Manager of the Operation Workshop, to perform the task of managing and operating the workshop's activities while the manager is working with the authorities.

In addition, according to the resolution, this unit assigned the Chairman of the Board of Directors to temporarily manage the activities of the Executive Board of Ba Ha River Hydropower Joint Stock Company and receive authorization to perform the duties and powers of the legal representative during the time General Director Nguyen Duc Phu is on leave and working with the authorities.

Song Ba Ha Hydropower Joint Stock Company was established in 2007, became a public company in 2008 and officially traded on UPCoM (code SBH) since June 2018. The company operates in the field of electricity production and trading, investment and management of power source projects, and services of operation management, repair and maintenance of power projects.

Song Ba Ha Hydropower Plant has a designed capacity of 220 MW, with an average electricity output of about 601.7 million kWh/year. The reservoir is located on the Ba River, in Song Hinh District (formerly Phu Yen Province) and Krong Ba District (formerly Gia Lai Province), with a basin area of ​​about 11,115 km2.

Regarding some hydropower plants that are slow to cut off power to construct the 500kV transmission line, EVN has just sent a document to the Minister of Industry and Trade requesting support to resolve difficulties in arranging power cuts to construct the 500kV Lao Cai - Vinh Yen transmission line project.
