On February 8, 1950, Bulgaria was one of the first countries in the world to recognize and establish diplomatic relations with Vietnam.
During the war years of the Vietnamese people's struggle for national liberation, Bulgaria was always a close friend, standing shoulder to shoulder and giving Vietnam valuable assistance.
Currently, the relationship between Vietnam and Bulgaria is maintaining a strong and positive development momentum in many aspects of diplomacy,education , trade and investment./.
