British media reported that after negotiations last weekend, coach Thomas Frank agreed to accept the invitation to lead Tottenham, replacing Ange Postecoglou.
After seven years with Brentford, the Danish coach wants to move to London to open a new chapter in his coaching career.

Spurs chairman Daniel Levy will now work with Brentford to pay a compensation fee, which could be as high as £10m.
On June 6, Tottenham fired Ange Postecoglou even though the Australian strategist ended his 17-year title drought by winning the Europa League.
After considering candidates, including Marco Silva, Micharl Carrick and Andoni Iraola, Mr. Daniel Levy and his colleagues decided to choose Thomas Frank, who has been quite successful with Brentford in recent years.
Frank moved to Gtech in 2018 and helped the Bees gain promotion to the top flight three years later. The 51-year-old has transformed Brentford into a fairly average Premier League club.
If he moves to Tottenham, Thomas Frank wants to bring his old player Mbeumo with him, as MU is also negotiating the transfer of the Cameroonian striker.
The deal could cost Spurs more than £60m, but Mbeumo himself has expressed his desire to join the Red Devils despite the club not being able to play in Europe next season.
