Friday, May 19, 2023 20:01 (GMT+7)TTH.VN - On the afternoon of May 19, the Department of Tourism coordinated with Vietravel Company, Hue branch and related units to organize a free bicycle tour with the theme "Journey following Uncle Ho's footsteps in Hue".
Joining the tour, the group of tourists experienced cycling on the beautiful roads of Hue City and moved to the attractions associated with President Ho Chi Minh 's childhood in Hue, such as Truong Tien Bridge, Dong Ba Market, Dieu De Pagoda, Uncle Ho Memorial House on Mai Thuc Loan Street, General Nguyen Chi Thanh Museum, Ho Chi Minh Museum, Quoc Hoc Hue High School for the Gifted...
The tour was organized on Uncle Ho's birthday (May 19), to help tourists better understand his childhood in Hue. It is also a journey of gratitude, a meaningful journey of memories; a journey of gratitude and reflection on the childhood days of the respected leader; at the same time, creating a completely new tourism product for tourists when traveling to Hue.
The coordinating units said that the free bicycle tour is expected to be held monthly with two routes: Hung Vuong Street - Uncle Ho Memorial House, Mai Thuc Loan Street - General Nguyen Chi Thanh Museum - Ho Chi Minh Museum - Quoc Hoc Hue High School for the Gifted; Hung Vuong - Duong No village and vicinity (Thanh Tien paper flowers or Sinh village if time permits).
