Commendation and reward for 27 collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in implementing Directive No. 05

After 10 years of implementing Directive No. 05, through mobilized funds, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the district has supported the construction of 225 "Great Unity" houses, repaired 304 houses for poor and near-poor households in the area; spent more than 100 billion VND to support livelihoods for poor and near-poor households to borrow capital to develop production, and gave thousands of gifts to poor households and poor students.

The whole district had over 12,600 people participating in voluntary blood donation, collecting 8,719 units of blood; contributing to saving the lives of many patients in need of blood. The "Godmother" program connected benefactors and philanthropists to sponsor 133 orphans and children in difficult circumstances...

On this occasion, the Standing Committee of Quang Dien District Party Committee commended and rewarded 27 collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in implementing Directive No. 05.
