First launched in 2022 to compete with the Honda Freed, the third-generation Toyota Sienta is developed on the extended TNGA-B platform, the same platform as the Yaris hatchback. The newly launched 2025 Toyota Juno version is aimed at users who love a flexible, convenient lifestyle and are pursuing the "camper van" trend that is booming in Japan. This new 2025 Toyota Juno minivan has an overall length of 4,260 mm, uses a 1.5L gasoline engine or hybrid transmission, comes with front-wheel drive or 4-wheel drive (E-Four) options.
This Juno version is developed from the Hybrid Z version, but removes the third row of seats to replace it with a multi-purpose compartment, where users can install interior modules to serve many different purposes. Customers can choose individual modules or themed design packages such as Chill, Refresh, Focus and Comfort. Thanks to that, the minivan, which was born to serve the family, can now take on the role of a space for rest, entertainment or mobile work. In addition, the Sienta Juno interior is also equipped with 6 ceiling-mounted LED lights, black-bordered floor mats and a separate Juno logo on the back. The interior materials use a special fabric that is odor-resistant, water- and oil-resistant, with three color options: black, beige and khaki.
With smart improvements from tuning company Modellista, the Toyota Sienta Juno allows the owner to easily turn the rear compartment into a living room, bedroom or even a compact mobile office – all thanks to the customizable modular interior. In terms of price, the Toyota Sienta Juno starts at 3,654,200 yen (about $24,800) for the front-wheel drive version, and 3,852,200 yen (about $26,100) for the E-Four four-wheel drive version, which is nearly 570,900 yen higher than the standard Sienta Hybrid Z version. Interior modules range in price from 20,900 yen to 72,600 yen, while full packages such as Chill, Refresh, Focus or Comfort cost between 165,000 yen ($1,100) and 330,000 yen ($2,200). An optional air mattress is also sold separately for 22,000 yen ($150). In addition to the Juno, Toyota also made a number of upgrades to the entire Sienta lineup this year, focusing on safety and comfort.
All versions come standard with an electronic parking brake, brake hold, automatic air conditioning, adaptive cruise control, emergency steering assist and active power steering. Except for the standard X version, all other versions have an additional dash cam. Interior and exterior design elements remain the same, except for details specific to the Juno version.
