The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training has just officially announced the enrollment quota for grade 10 at non-public schools for the 2025-2026 school year.
Accordingly, specific enrollment targets are as follows:
Specific enrollment targets for each school
According to the Department of Education and Training, private schools are only allowed to be organized and operate at facilities (locations) that are approved by the Department to operateeducational activities, ensuring adequate facilities and implementing educational programs according to regulations.
The enrollment plan for non-public schools in Ho Chi Minh City also clearly states the specific quotas assigned to schools and will not be adjusted for schools that have been licensed to operate education. By August 1, 2025, if there are more schools that meet the conditions and the Department of Education and Training grants educational licenses, they will be considered and assigned enrollment quotas for grade 10 for the 2025-2026 school year.
From the 2025-2026 school year, enrollment registration for non-public schools will also be implemented on the Department's exam management system, with the Department of Examinations and Education Quality Assessment responsible for providing guidance and providing accounts within the prescribed time. This is to closely monitor the enrollment process at schools, avoiding the situation of exceeding enrollment quotas or enrolling incorrectly.
