Thu Thiem 2 Bridge across the Saigon River officially opened to traffic on April 28, 2022. The bridge is 1,465m long with 6 lanes, with an investment cost of more than 3,100 billion VND, connecting District 1 with Thu Duc City. Once the bridge is put into operation, it will reduce traffic congestion on Ton Duc Thang Street, Nguyen Huu Canh Street, Saigon Bridge and Thu Thiem Tunnel.
