On October 22, at the Ho Chi Minh City University of Technical Education, the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee handed over the research results of the Project on Training International-Level Human Resources in the Mechanical Engineering - Automation Industry . This is a project that the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee ordered the school to implement and officially handed over to implement the next phase.

Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Quach Thanh Hai , Vice Principal of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technical Education, said that mechanics and automation are considered the "backbone" of modern production, and at the same time the foundation for forming new industrial fields such as industrial robots, advanced materials technology and precision manufacturing.

According to Dr. Hai, to develop this field, the city needs a team of engineers and experts with solid knowledge, good practical ability and creative thinking on par with international standards.

"The handover of the project's research results to the school to implement the pilot international training program is an affirmation of Ho Chi Minh City's trust in the capacity and academic reputation of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technical Education. The school is committed to maximizing the effectiveness of the project, implementing the pilot training in a practical manner, contributing to providing high-quality human resources for the city" - Dr. Hai emphasized.

Representative of the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City, Ms. Truong Hai Thanh , Deputy Director of the Department, said that the implementation of the project to train human resources at international standards requires the support of prestigious universities, especially those with strengths in research, technology transfer and training of high-quality engineers. "The results achieved today are the efforts of the research team and the close guidance of the school's leaders" - Ms. Thanh assessed.

At the ceremony, Associate Professor, Dr. Dang Thien Ngon , Deputy Head of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering - Manufacturing, briefly presented the research results and the plan to implement the pilot training program according to international standards.
