Ho Chi Minh City opens logo design contest for public transport system

The Public Transport Management Center (Ho Chi Minh City Department of Construction) launched a logo design contest, "Urban Symbol - Connecting Mark" for the public transport system in the area.

Accordingly, this contest aims to renew the representative image of the Public Transport Management Center, in line with the digital transformation and sustainable development orientation of Ho Chi Minh City.

"The designs are a bridge between the familiar symbols of public transport and a new vision of a smart, modern public transport system that puts people - public transport users - at the center.

Thereby, passengers and people have better access to public transport systems such as buses and metro.

This is not only an opportunity to demonstrate design thinking and creative perspective, but also a bridge connecting public transport with the community through the entries," said a representative of the center.

Participants are all Vietnamese citizens living and working in Vietnam, participating as individuals or groups (maximum 3 members per group).

Candidates under 18 years of age as of September 28 must have written confirmation from a legal guardian, along with their application.

How to participate and submit entries:

Candidates send their application documents via the official email of the organizing committee and by post . Detailed rules, technical instructions and forms will be officially announced on the fanpage and communication channels of the center.

Competition itinerary:

Round 1 (submission of exam papers): Candidates submit their exam papers (August 18 to September 7) as required with the announced form and the organizing committee will review the documents for posting.

Round 2 (voting and scoring): The official voting portal and detailed rules of the round will be announced on the center's media channels (from September 8 to September 21). Eligible works will be made public for the community to vote and spread.

At the same time, the jury will evaluate according to professional criteria. The list of 10 best entries will be announced on September 24.

Round 3 (Presentation and Award Ceremony): The authors of the 10 best entries will present directly to the jury during the closing and award ceremony on October 6. The awards will be announced and presented at the ceremony.

Public transport logo design contest prize structure:

First prize 100,000,000 VND in cash (including personal income tax) + trophy + certificate.

Other prizes include 2 second prizes, 3 third prizes, 4 consolation prizes, 1 voting prize will be awarded certificates and gifts.
