The program is organized by Nam Sai Gon International General Hospital in collaboration with Ho Chi Minh City Blood Transfusion and Hematology Hospital. The event is held annually with a series of activities to support blood donors such as health consultation, pre-donation screening, post-donation care, etc. All aim to bring a safe, thoughtful and humane experience to participants.
On June 14, a representative of Nam Sai Gon International General Hospital said that the program's message does not stop at a call to action, but also spreads humanitarian values in the community - becoming a solid bridge between blood donors and recipients in the journey to preserve life.
"Each drop of blood is a gesture, each participant is a messenger of life. As a bridge between the community and patients in need of blood, Nam Sai Gon International General Hospital is committed to continuing to accompany humanitarian activities, spreading love and supporting hopeful life journeys," the hospital representative shared.

During this blood donation campaign, the hospital received more than 150 units of blood, thanks to the positive response from many individuals and groups. More valuable than anything is the spirit of volunteerism and the sharing of humanity that is spread through each story.
Ms. NTK (office worker, Ho Chi Minh City), who donated blood for the first time, shared: "At first, I was a bit worried and afraid of the pain, but when I saw many older people regularly donating blood, I thought that since I was young and healthy, I should contribute even more. I was a bit dizzy, but the staff took great care of me."
Besides those who are eligible to donate blood, there are still many cases where they cannot participate due to poor health. However, their volunteer spirit and positive spread have also contributed to affirming the message "Giving blood of love - Giving hope of life".
