Ho Chi Minh City officially opens Nguyen Hue Flower Street, open until the 5th day of Lunar New Year

On the evening of January 27 (December 28), Nguyen Hue Flower Street Tet At Ty 2025 with the theme "Brocade and flower country, happy Spring" officially opened in Ho Chi Minh City.

Attending the event were Mr. Nguyen Trong Nghia, Head of the Central Propaganda Department; Mr. Nguyen Van Nen, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, along with former leaders of the Party and State; leaders of ministries, departments, and branches of the Central Government, Ho Chi Minh City, and many people from all walks of life.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Vice Chairwoman of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Tran Thi Dieu Thuy emphasized that the Flower Street is the opening activity for major programs, events and festivals in 2025 of the City as well as the whole country.

Through that, the City conveys the message of celebrating the New Year, opening the important events of 2025. The area of President Ho Chi Minh's statue is designed solemnly, meaningfully, majestically and warmly.

The grand opening scene of Nguyen Hue Flower Street Tet 2025 creates a "Dance of Unification" like a resounding song of triumph, firmly advancing to a new era for the homeland of Vietnam, "The country is covered with brocade and flowers, enjoying a peaceful Spring".

During the New Year celebration, the Nguyen Hue Flower Street project for Tet 2025 is expected to meet the entertainment needs of the people of the city and the whole country; at the same time, it is an attractive destination for domestic and international tourists. Nguyen Hue Flower Street is not only one of the typical cultural works of Ho Chi Minh City every Lunar New Year, but also a place to display and exhibit works of art of fresh flowers, bonsai, miniature landscapes, statues, reliefs... imbued with national cultural identity and spirit of the times.

This year, Nguyen Hue Flower Street Tet 2025 is divided into 3 segments: Solidarity, Transformation and Development, showing the historical stages of the Vietnamese people overcoming all hardships, still singing the song of solidarity to gain independence, unify the country, and transform for sustainable development.

In particular, overcoming many challenges, the design unit has created the mascot image of the year of At Ty into a work of art, gentle, graceful, impressive with a pair of snakes. In particular, the couple Kim Ty, Ngan Ty at the Flower Street entrance is also an impressive return in appearance, size and manufacturing method compared to the Quy Ty couple in 2013...

In addition, "Spring Drops from the Earth" is a large scene that brings a rather abstract look with its shape resembling both a honeycomb and a cave, creating a highlight for Nguyen Hue Flower Street Tet 2025. Along with that, the medium and small scenes have about 90 Ty mascot shapes expressed in a variety of shades and shapes, concentrated behind the Flower Street's welcome gate.

Nguyen Hue Flower Street Tet 2025 opens to serve the needs of Spring travel and enjoyment of the city's residents and tourists from 7:00 p.m. on January 27 to 9:00 p.m. on February 2 (the 5th day of Tet).
