The CEO 500 - TEA CONNECT dialogue session took place on the afternoon of November 25 with the theme " Ho Chi Minh City: Towards an international megacity in the digital age".
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh emphasized: "Ho Chi Minh City wants to implement the development pillars, besides internal strength, it really needs support from investors and businesses. Therefore, we hope that businesses will continue to accompany Vietnam in general and Ho Chi Minh City in particular, in the spirit of valuing intelligence, saving time and making timely decisions, bringing common benefits."
Also attending the Dialogue Session were Deputy Prime Minister Bui Thanh Son; Comrade Tran Luu Quang - Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee; Comrade Nguyen Van Duoc - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee.
In that context, Ho Chi Minh City after the merger is entering a new development phase with a broad vision and great aspiration to become an international, modern, dynamic, livable and globally competitive megacity. However, in the process of restructuring the development space, the City is facing many challenges.
Explaining this issue, Ho Chi Minh City Party Secretary Tran Luu Quang said the City has seen a number of issues that need to be fundamentally and strategically resolved.

Following the presentation of the City leaders, representatives of units and enterprises raised many practical issues of concern for Ho Chi Minh City in the context of the City repositioning its role as a "dynamic super city".
Concluding the dialogue session, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh affirmed that economic development is a key task, and it is necessary to promote the spirit of solidarity and cooperation, and strengthen dialogue with partners in the spirit of harmonious interests and shared risks.

The Prime Minister also pointed out that, for Ho Chi Minh City alone, to implement the five development pillars set out, the City needs capital through the soon-to-be-established International Financial Center, digital infrastructure, open and competitive institutions, high-quality human resources and smart governance.


Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and delegates witnessed the signing of cooperation agreements between Vietnamese and international partners.
On this occasion, many Memorandums of Understanding on cooperation between City agencies and businesses and organizations were announced, demonstrating the commitment to accompany and concretize the contents discussed at the event.
