Ho Chi Minh City: Vung Tau Ward's total revenue from accommodation services reached 5,825 billion VND

VTV.vn - "Vung Tau Ward completed most of the targets for 2025, revenue from accommodation and food services reached 5,825 billion VND, and economic and administrative developments were both positive."

According to the report of the People's Committee of Vung Tau Ward (Ho Chi Minh City), in the first 11 months of 2025, the ward's basic economic indicators have nearly reached or exceeded the annual plan.

Regarding budget revenue, the total accumulated state budget tax revenue for 11 months reached over 123.4 billion VND, exceeding the target by 105.8%. State budget expenditure in Vung Tau ward accumulated from July 1 to now reached over 292.7 billion VND.

Total revenue from accommodation and catering services reached VND5,825 billion, equivalent to 97.8% of the plan. Total retail sales of goods reached VND11,627 billion, reaching 96.69% of the plan. Industrial production value reached VND1,152 billion, reaching 99.31% of the plan. Regarding business development, in 11 months, Vung Tau ward had 842 new business registration households, bringing the total number of business households in the area to 6,244.

The ward pays attention to and performs well the work of planning, construction, urban order, resources and environment. At the same time, the ward organizes and coordinates many exciting cultural, sports and entertainment activities to meet the entertainment needs of residents and tourists.

The ward's administrative reform work has achieved many positive results. From July 1st to now, the ward has resolved 9,288 files on time and before the deadline, reaching a rate of 96.47%.

By November 17, 2025, Vung Tau ward's ranking on the National Public Service Portal was 123, an increase of 20 places compared to October 2025.

Mr. Vo Van Dung, member of the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, Party Secretary, Chairman of the People's Council of Vung Tau Ward, requested the Ward People's Committee to pay attention to reviewing headquarters and public land to find solutions for exploitation and use to avoid waste. At the same time, it is necessary to develop specific programs and plans, and make careful preparations to organize well entertainment events from now until the end of the year. The police and military forces must proactively grasp the situation of the people to promptly handle arising problems.

Ward officials need to improve their sense of responsibility in monitoring the situation and promptly detecting violations of construction order in the area.

The police and military forces of the ward focus on training in disaster prevention and search and rescue to proactively respond in all situations.

In particular, Mr. Vo Van Dung noted that the ward government needs to create conditions for businesses to link up and develop, creating a driving force to promote the private economy according to the State's orientation.

To achieve better results in the last month of 2025 and the following years, Mr. Vu Hong Thuan, Chairman of Vung Tau Ward People's Committee, requested departments, offices and units to strengthen the implementation of solutions to increase budget revenue and promote economic growth; accompany and support business households to convert to enterprises, creating conditions for enterprises to develop.

Relevant departments and units need to plan to organize cultural, artistic and entertainment programs to serve people and tourists; speed up the consultation and approval of projects and plans; strengthen inspection and handling of violations of land encroachment and construction order.

At the same time, it is necessary to focus on improving the quality of administrative reform to better serve people and businesses.
