On the morning of June 21, the launching ceremony of the "Supporting the Exam Season" program in 2025 was held at Le Hong Phong High School for the Gifted (District 5, Ho Chi Minh City), opening a series of activities to directly accompany candidates in the high school graduation exam and university and college entrance exam in Ho Chi Minh City. The program was organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam Student Association, the Ho Chi Minh City Student Support Center in coordination with Thien Long Group.
The launching ceremony of the "Supporting the Exam Season" program in 2025 took place in a bustling atmosphere, spreading enthusiasm in Ho Chi Minh City with the participation of thousands of volunteer students. Right from the beginning of the program, emotional images such as young people writing handwritten cards together, sending wishes and encouragement to grade 12 students created a warm atmosphere, giving them more confidence before the important exam.
Volunteers write messages of encouragement to candidates
The highlight of the ceremony was the solemn and spirited launching ceremony. 10 volunteer teams took turns to debut, led by team leaders, accepting their missions with a high spirit of determination. The moment the flag with the familiar slogan "Be confident, we go with you" was handed over and raised high on stage, amidst the proud eyes of the delegates and volunteers, as a strong affirmation of the spirit of dedication of the youth. The series of days of supporting the exam season is not only an act of support and volunteerism but also a journey to write beautiful pages of youth.
Volunteer teams launch and take on missions
Nguyen Vo Huyen Tram, a student at Ho Chi Minh City University of Foreign Languages and Information Technology, Captain of the student volunteer team at the examination sites in District 1 and District 3, said: This is the third year I have participated in the Exam Support Program and have taken on many different roles. Every exam season, Tram is always ready to support candidates and their families in the best way possible. Every summer, Tram registers to participate because the program brings her many emotions, memories and opportunities to connect with fellow students.

"I always remember the times when it rained or was sunny, we still stood in front of the school gate waiting for the candidates with their parents. The moment the candidates walked out of the exam room, were welcomed by their parents with open arms, no matter what the result was, they were still welcomed with bright smiles, made me extremely emotional. I saw myself a few years ago, also being waited for by my family like that. That moment was so touching. Every relay season, I always want to contribute my small part to the community, spread the spirit of volunteering among students in Ho Chi Minh City in general and introduce the image of students of the University of Foreign Languages and Information Technology to my friends."
Launching activities of the exam support program
Tran Thi Nhu Quynh, a first-year student at Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry, shared: "My hometown is Tien Giang , this summer I decided to stay in Ho Chi Minh City to fully participate in the program. I hope to contribute my small part to help the candidates, spread the spirit of sharing and continue the beautiful tradition of student volunteers. This is the first time I have participated in the Exam Support Program. I feel very meaningful when I can contribute my youth, just like before when I was supported and energized by my seniors during the exam."
The "Supporting the Exam Season" program in 2025 in Ho Chi Minh City continues to carry out the mission of accompanying candidates on their journey of "passing the exam gate". With the spirit of innovation, responsibility, and creativity, the program has been implementing comprehensive support activities for candidates through three stages: Before, during, and after the exam. Specifically: Support activities before the exam (from April 2025 to June 2025); support activities during the exam (from June 26 to June 28); support activities after the exam (from July 2025 to August 2025).
Organizing Committee of the Exam Support Program
The program attracted more than 23,000 volunteer students to register and participate in online and live content. During the exam days, 3,000 volunteer students will be on duty at exam sites and important traffic points to directly support candidates, their families and coordinate with authorities to ensure the program's content is successful.
This year's exam support program focuses on the following activities: Career counseling; online mental support activities; AI exam support; online volunteering; academic scholarship support; new student support activities; volunteering to directly support candidates.
Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Student Support Center Le Xuan Dung said that the "Supporting Exam Season" program this year enters its 29th year, is one of six summer volunteer campaigns of students, university students, and youth in the city named after Uncle Ho every summer. The program has become a solid support, accompanying millions of candidates and their families during important exams.
Volunteers show determination at the departure ceremony
According to Mr. Dung, in 2025, the program will continue to be implemented with the spirit of innovation, applying technology, expanding support space, and enhancing comprehensive care for candidates, especially those in difficult circumstances.
In the overall program of Supporting the Exam Season this year, the Ho Chi Minh City Student Support Center in collaboration with many units and enterprises has been awarding hundreds of cash scholarships with a total value of more than 3.5 billion VND and thousands of English course scholarships with a total value of nearly 5 billion VND. At the launching ceremony alone, the Organizing Committee of the Supporting the Exam Season program awarded 40 cash scholarships worth 120 million VND and English course scholarships worth 800 million VND.
