Nghe An Department of Education and Training has just sent Document No. 531/TT-SGD&DT dated March 14 to the Department of Quality Management, Ministry of Education and Training .
Accordingly, the Nghe An Department of Education and Training proposed to adjust the 2025 high school graduation exam schedule earlier than the announced schedule, specifically on June 8, 9, and 10 (previously scheduled for June 26-27).
At the same time, the Nghe An Department of Education and Training also proposed that the Ministry of Education and Training allow adjustment of teaching time for grades 9 and 12 to finish the program before May 10, 2025 and organize the 2025-2026 Grade 10 High School Entrance Exam on May 25 and 26, 2025, earlier than usual.
According to the plan, in the 2024-2025 school year, all levels will complete the program and end before May 31, 2025. In recent school years, the entrance exam for grade 10 in Nghe An was usually held in the first week of June.
The 10th grade entrance exam for the 2025-2026 school year in Nghe An will take place with 3 subjects: Literature, Math and Foreign Language (English and French). This is the first exam to be conducted according to the 2018 General Education Program.
The proposal of the Nghe An Department of Education and Training was made in the context that the whole country is preparing to merge a number of provincial-level administrative units, not organizing the district level, and continuing to merge commune-level administrative units according to Conclusion 127 - KL/TW dated February 28, 2025 of the Politburo and Secretariat.
According to the Nghe An Department of Education and Training, if the 10th grade entrance exam and high school graduation exam schedule is adjusted earlier this year, it will facilitate the preparation work of localities to implement it safely, seriously, and in accordance with regulations; ensuring the rights and psychological stability of students.
