Military Hospital 175 is ready for the first Tien Phong Half Marathon.

From December 12th to 14th, 2025, the first Tien Phong Half Marathon will take place in Van Phuc Urban Area – a modern urban area with integrated infrastructure and a green, clean, and safe environment.

The race includes three distances: 21.1 km, 10 km, and 5 km, for both men and women. The 21.1 km distance is divided into five age groups: 16-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60 and above, providing an opportunity for runners of all ages to challenge themselves.

Doctors and medical staff from Military Hospital 175 are treating athletes for injuries after they finished the Tien Phong National Marathon and Long Distance Championship.

The time limits were set as follows: 3 hours 30 minutes for 21.1 km, 2 hours 30 minutes for 10 km, and 1 hour 30 minutes for 5 km.

Journalist Phung Cong Suong - Editor-in-Chief of Tien Phong newspaper , Head of the Organizing Committee of the first Tien Phong Half Marathon - 2025, said that the Tien Phong Half Marathon is the newest sporting event in the ecosystem of sports activities initiated by Tien Phong newspaper and organized in coordination with many other units.

With the theme "Green Journey - Giving Trust, Receiving Happiness," the first Tien Phong Half Marathon - 2025 aims to spread the message about a positive and healthy lifestyle; about harmony between humans and nature; and about belief in the good values that sports bring to the community.

The medical sponsor for the first Tien Phong Half Marathon - 2025 is Military Hospital 175. Speaking with a reporter from Tien Phong newspaper, Lieutenant Colonel, Doctor of Medicine, Specialist II Vu Son Giang - Deputy Head of Political Affairs, Military Hospital 175, said that to prepare for the Tien Phong Half Marathon 2025, Military Hospital 175 has mobilized 10-15 doctors and nurses, along with 1-2 ambulances, to be on standby at Van Phuc Urban Area to provide medical support for the race.

Military Hospital 175 has partnered with Tien Phong newspaper in numerous events such as the Tien Phong Marathon, Miss Vietnam, and Red Sunday… This year, there is an advantage: the first Tien Phong Half Marathon – 2025 will be held in Ho Chi Minh City, and since Military Hospital 175 is also located in Ho Chi Minh City, logistical and medical preparations will be easier. During the event, if any athlete experiences health problems, Military Hospital 175 will mobilize additional personnel and resources to provide emergency care.

According to Lieutenant Colonel, Doctor of Medicine, Specialist II Vu Son Giang, before the first Tien Phong Half Marathon in 2025, the medical team assigned by Military Hospital 175 to the event had planned the deployment of activity groups, prepared equipment, medicines, and necessary tools to ensure they were lightweight, mobile, and ready for immediate use.

On the other hand, Military Hospital 175 also provides professional training related to managing patients with problems such as heatstroke, sunstroke, exhaustion, and muscle strain; and conducts simulated scenarios to visualize and master how to handle these situations.
