Completed laying 4.8 km of asphalt concrete layer under the North axis road

The remaining 1.26 km section is being loaded to treat weak ground.

The North-South axis road construction investment project in Thanh Mien district (phase 1) is invested by the Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board.

The project is approximately 6.06 km long. The starting point intersects with provincial road 392 at km10+370, in Nhan Quyen commune (Binh Giang); the end point at km6+060.45 connects with the East-West axis road, in Lam Son commune (Thanh Mien).

The scale of phase 1 of the project is a level III plain road. The roadbed width is 12 m, the road surface is 11 m; the design speed is 80 km/h. The total investment is 397,810 billion VND. The project is expected to be completed and open to traffic in December 2024.

Upon completion, the project will connect with Provincial Road 392 and the Hanoi - Hai Phong Expressway, forming a main axis linking the districts of Binh Giang, Thanh Mien, Ninh Giang, and Tu Ky, and enhancing traffic connections between Hai Duong and Hung Yen provinces.
