Equipping women with energy saving skills

TTH.VN - On April 16, the Women's Union of Huong Thuy town coordinated with the Women's Union of Hue city to organize a training course on waste classification and treatment at source to equip female members with knowledge and skills on energy saving practices and green energy use.

The training session aims to raise awareness, change behavior and promote the role of women in environmental protection, energy saving and responding to climate change.

At the training session, women members were equipped with practical content such as: Skills to classify household waste, instructions on treating organic waste using microbiological methods, composting techniques; introduction to renewable energy models, as well as sustainable and environmentally friendly consumption habits.

Through the training, women members have more knowledge and practical skills in daily life, contributing to spreading the message of green and clean living to the community. From there, contributing to enhancing the role of women in building a safe, economical and sustainable living environment.
