At the press conference, many questions were raised by reporters related to the following areas: Support policies for eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses; Hazard allowances for teachers working in laboratories; Protection of the rights of students at Phu Luu Primary School (Vy Da) when they only study one session and do not have boarding schools. In particular, the discussion focused on issues related to security work at relic sites, after the incident of the Nguyen Dynasty throne being violated at Thai Hoa Palace; Equipping support tools (electric batons) for relic protection forces; Handling of subjects and individuals related to the incident...

Mr. Hoang Viet Trung, Director of the Hue Monuments Conservation Center, said that after the incident of the Nguyen Dynasty throne encroachment, the Center established a working group to review the entire security and safety process of the monuments. The Center is currently managing more than 40 monument sites, and has deployed security forces at key locations in more than 20 monuments. The area, scope, and number of artifacts are relatively large. However, to ensure absolute security and safety at the monument sites, there are still many shortcomings, especially for national treasures.

Currently, comprehensive plans to protect national treasures have been planned to be implemented when the revised Heritage Law takes effect, including: strengthening facilities, applying technology, training security forces, handling emergency situations, dividing visitors, and establishing a smart monitoring and control center.

Regarding the protection of national treasures, especially at Thai Hoa Palace, Mr. Trung said he has reported the plans to the Hue City People's Committee, and once the plan is finalized, it will be implemented.

Regarding support tools, the Director of the Hue Monuments Conservation Center said that the old electric batons have been recalled due to their expiration date. The Center is coordinating with the Hue City Police to organize training for 25-30 security guards in June, and then proceed to purchase support tools according to regulations.

For content that cannot be answered immediately, relevant departments, branches and sectors will compile and send written responses to the press as soon as possible, ensuring transparent, timely and complete information.
