After 4 days of exciting competition, the Organizing Committee honored outstanding individuals and groups with 9 gold medals and 9 silver medals for performances in the Vietnamese voice and instrumental solo categories.
In addition, 17 A prizes, 39 B prizes and 10 certificates of merit were awarded to works and artists that left special marks.
Musician Nguyen Quoc Vinh, Chairman of the Arts Council, highly appreciated the changes in the organization this year. Not only limited to the compositions of the members, the Festival has expanded its scope to honor the performing artists - from arranging, staging to performing.
He emphasized that performance is not only the final stage of a musical work but also the decisive factor for its success. When properly invested, performances can turn a composition into a masterpiece.
A highlight of this year’s Festival is the seamless blend of traditional art and modern style. Many works impress with their fresh harmonies and rhythms, opening up a unique creative space for artists.
Besides, many musicians choose to inherit traditional values, creating simple but still vibrant works.
Musician Nguyen Quoc Vinh shared that the Arts Council recognizes the dedication and creativity of musicians and artists, and hopes that this spirit will continue to spread in future Festivals.
The National Music Festival is not only a playground for musicians and artists to show their talents, but also an opportunity to exchange, learn experiences and introduce new musical works imbued with regional cultural identity.
The event is a strong affirmation of the vitality of Vietnamese music in the new era, meeting the increasing expectations of the public and actively contributing to the development of the country's arts.
This year's festival not only ended with proud achievements but also opened up great expectations for a new breakthrough period of Vietnamese music.
