| Representatives of the People's Committee and Women's Union of Quang Binh commune presented support to ethnic minority women. |
At the program, a total of 450 million VND was awarded to 63 ethnic minority women in the commune. Each support package was allocated in accordance with the actual conditions of each household, ensuring that the capital was used for the right purpose and brought long-term effectiveness.
This capital is prioritized for developing livestock livelihoods such as pig and chicken farming and small-scale farming models in groups of households. These are sustainable models, suitable for the natural conditions of mountainous areas and have proven effective in helping women increase their income, take control of their finances and reduce economic risks.
This funding activity continues to affirm the attention of local authorities, social organizations and the AWEEV project to ethnic minorities, especially women in disadvantaged areas, towards the goal of building a sustainable and self-reliant community.
The AWEEV project has been contributing significantly to improving the livelihoods of farming households, especially women and ethnic minority communities in many localities in Vietnam through models of supporting loans, agricultural techniques and financial management.
