Accordingly, 76 students received support of 1 million VND/scholarship; 11 students received support of 2 million VND/scholarship. The total value of this scholarship is 98 million VND. This funding source is sponsored by Vietcombank Hai Phong branch through the connection of the Journalists Association of Quang Tri and Hung Yen provinces.
In addition, at Trieu Van Border Guard Station, the Hung Yen Provincial Journalists Association directly supported 2 million VND in cash for students in difficult circumstances; 5 million VND for the unit.
It is known that in order to contribute to encouraging and motivating the spirit of learning, and at the same time sharing with students in difficult circumstances, since 2016, the Provincial Border Guard has implemented the program "Helping children go to school".
After 2 years of implementing the program, realizing that in the border area there are still many students in especially difficult circumstances, with no place to rely on, the Provincial Border Guard Command continued to launch and implement the program "Adopted children of border guards".
Through these two programs, over the years, hundreds of students in difficult circumstances in the province have been supported and nurtured by border guards. In the 2024-2025 school year alone, the provincial Border Guard received support and nurtured 87 students.
