Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi City Nguyen Lan Huong headed the delegation.
In Ho Chi Minh City, the delegation worked with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City; offered incense to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh at Ben Nha Rong - where Uncle Ho left to find a way to save the country in 1911; visited the Independence Palace and the Sac Forest Base (Can Gio District).
At the working session with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, delegates discussed good models and creative ways of propagating and mobilizing people; implementing patriotic emulation movements, campaigns such as "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas", "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods"; and implementing social supervision and criticism at the grassroots level.
The two sides also shared the difficulties in selecting personnel to participate in the Front's working committee, especially in special places such as high-end apartment buildings, and the coordination regulations between the building's management board and the Front's working committee in residential areas...
Delegates all emphasized the key role of the Front's working committee in residential areas in grasping the situation, gathering people's opinions, detecting and promptly resolving problems arising from the grassroots...
In Can Tho city, the delegation had a working session and exchanged experiences with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Can Tho city.
The two sides outlined the socio-economic development situation, shared the results of social supervision and criticism work, and the advantages and difficulties in implementing methods and ways of performing social supervision and criticism work, and exchanged experiences in building a team of "dedicated and capable" Front cadres, adapting to the development requirements in the new era of the country.
The program of visit and working between the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi City and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City and Can Tho City aims to share, exchange and learn experiences between cities in the Emulation Cluster of Central-affiliated cities on social supervision and criticism.
This is also an opportunity for the delegation to express gratitude to the heroic martyrs on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025). Through this activity, it contributes to strengthening the cohesion and close coordination between units and opens up practical directions to build a team of professional, dedicated, close-to-the-people and for-the-people Front cadres.
