After 3 years of implementation, the organizing committee received 140 entries. Of these, 47 entered the final round and 34 won awards.
Specifically, the memoir and short story genre has 1 A prize, 2 B prizes, 5 C prizes and 3 consolation prizes. The novel genre has 3 A prizes, 4 B prizes, 7 C prizes and 9 consolation prizes.

At the ceremony, Senior Lieutenant General Tran Quoc To, Deputy Minister of Public Security, affirmed that the entries are not only numbers showing the attraction of the contest but also documents proving the enduring vitality of the theme "For national security and peaceful life" over the past time.
"These are the most outstanding works among many outstanding works demonstrating a high sense of responsibility for the contest, demonstrating the investment of time, effort and passion of many groups and individuals participating in the contest, contributing to further illuminating the beautiful image of the People's Public Security soldier in the hearts of the people," Senior Lieutenant General Tran Quoc To commented.
According to Chairman of the Vietnam Writers Association Nguyen Quang Thieu, literature about the People's Public Security force has become an important part of contemporary Vietnamese literature.
"Currently, readers look for works written about the police force not because they are curious about a case, but because they want to understand the lives of people and the problems of the entire society in it," said Mr. Nguyen Quang Thieu.

The competition for writing novels, stories and memoirs on the theme "For national security and peaceful life" is organized to encourage authors to learn about the actual work of the People's Public Security force in order to create literary works that truly and vividly reflect the image, as well as the silent tasks and outstanding achievements of the police officers.
In particular, the contest focuses on reflecting the role of the People's Public Security force and the entire population in protecting national security and social order and safety in the current stage of development and international integration.
