Providing support for home repairs, livelihoods and gifts to Agent Orange victims in Ninh Binh province

On the afternoon of November 11, the Vietnam Association of Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin organized a gift-giving ceremony to support house repairs, livelihoods, and give gifts to victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin affected by the recent storms and floods in the province.

Recently, the impact of storm No. 10, along with unusual tornadoes and whirlwinds and post-storm No. 11 circulation , has caused heavy damage to people and property, affecting the lives of many households , especially victims and households suffering from the consequences of war.

Leaders of the Central Association of Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin presented house repair support to Agent Orange victims in Ninh Binh province.

The Central Committee of the Association for Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin presented a symbolic plaque of support to the Association for Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin of Ninh Binh province.

In order to encourage the spirit and share the difficulties with victims of Agent Orange/dioxin and families of victims affected by natural disasters , the Vietnam Association of Victims of Agent Orange/dioxin has decided to support 150 million VND including house repair costs and livelihood support for 9 families of victims in the province.

This is an activity within the program to support livelihoods and give gifts to Agent Orange victims in localities affected by natural disasters. Through this, the Association and the whole society show their concern and concern for Agent Orange victims, helping them to soon stabilize their lives.

After the gift giving program, the Vietnam Association of Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin and the Provincial Association of Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin discussed the operation of the Association after the 2-level local government model was put into operation.

Working scene.

At the working session, the Central Association's working delegation listened to the leaders of the Provincial Association of Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin report on the organization and staffing situation; results of the Association's activities in 2025; resource mobilization; revenue and expenditure of the Agent Orange/Dioxin Victims Fund; work of caring for and assisting victims; inspection and supervision work and directions and tasks of the Association's work in the coming time.

After merging the Association of Victims of Agent Orange/dioxin in Nam Dinh , Ha Nam and Ninh Binh (old) provinces, the whole Association has 18,071 members , of which 15,578 members are victims. In 2025, the Association regularly maintains the working regime, builds working habits, propagates, mobilizes, and receives social resources. Caring for and helping victims of Agent Orange/dioxin : receiving and distributing 118 wheelchairs from the Central Association ; receiving funding to support house repairs, livelihood capital and encouragement gifts for families of victims of Agent Orange/dioxin damaged by storm No. 10 and tornadoes in Ninh Binh, organizing activities to visit and give gifts to victims of Agent Orange/dioxin on the occasion of Vietnam Agent Orange Victims Day ( August 10 ) .

Also at the conference, delegates proposed a number of solutions to remove arising difficulties and obstacles, soon bringing the Association's activities into stability and achieving high efficiency.
