Over 1,000 Nam Sach children registered to participate in the safe swimming teaching program

Responding to the drowning prevention program, more than 1,000 children in Nam Sach have registered to learn to swim at 14 swimming pools in the district.

Nam Sach district leaders give gifts to poor children and orphans in difficult circumstances

On the morning of May 28, the People's Committee of Nam Sach district organized a launching ceremony for the Month of Action for Children, Summer Festival, Youth Volunteer Campaign and the program to teach safe swimming and prevent drowning for children in the summer of 2025.

On this occasion, the district launched a program to teach children safe swimming and prevent drowning. To date, over 1,000 children have registered to participate at 14 swimming pools in the area.

On this occasion, Nam Sach district presented gifts to children at 19 kindergartens, each worth 2 million VND; presented 10 gifts including cash and school supplies to poor, orphaned and disabled children. The Provincial Association for the Protection of People with Disabilities and Children presented 35 cartons of Vinamilk milk to children. The district's Medical Center also presented 10 gifts to disadvantaged students at Nam Trung Primary School. In addition, the district and communes and towns mobilized and presented 322 gifts worth 500,000 VND each to children in special circumstances.
Immediately after the launching ceremony, the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee visited and presented gifts to orphans and disabled children in An Phu, Nam Hung and Minh Tan communes.
