Tri Ton summarizes the work of selecting and calling citizens to join the army in 2025

On June 13, Tri Ton district held a preliminary review of the work of selecting and calling citizens to join the army and perform their duty to join the People's Public Security in 2025. Chairman of Tri Ton District People's Committee Nguyen Van Be Tam attended.

In 2025, Tri Ton district completed 100% of the target of selecting and calling citizens to join the army; young people left for the army safely and on time. The work of grasping the source was carefully and closely prepared by communes and towns from the stages of planning, registration, source management to political and policy review, discussion, organizing health screening, issuing orders to join the army and organizing a centralized and solemn military handover ceremony.

For citizens who pass the exam, the Provincial People's Committee will issue a savings book worth 1.8 million VND; the District People's Committee will give 2 gifts to the youth and their families. In addition, in 2025, the Tri Ton District Military Service Council will also organize the reception of 71 soldiers who have completed their military service and returned to their localities; and recruit 156 new youths into the militia and self-defense force.

Speaking at the conference, Chairman of Tri Ton District People's Committee Nguyen Van Be Tam, Chairman of the District Military Service Council, suggested that in the coming time, when the 5 new communes come into operation, the commune military agency will continue to advise the leaders of the new communes to pay attention to the work of selecting and calling citizens to join the army, and include this target in the annual Party Committee and People's Council resolutions of the communes and the 2025-2030 term.

In addition, strictly implement the steps of selecting, calling citizens to join the army and performing the obligation to join the People's Public Security. On the other hand, manage the permanent population in the locality; organize strict review and approval of political and ethical standards; strictly handle violations according to the provisions of the law. At the same time, regularly propagate andeducate widely among the people, especially citizens of military age; do a good job of military rear policy work, such as: Organizing visits, encouraging, supporting the construction and repair of houses, helping military families in difficult circumstances to stabilize their lives...

On this occasion, the People's Committee of Tri Ton district awarded 20 collectives and 48 individuals with outstanding achievements in the work of selecting and calling citizens to join the army in 2025. At the same time, it proposed that the Provincial People's Committee award certificates of merit to 1 collective, 1 family and 2 outstanding individuals.
