As part of the activities of the Provincial Culture, Sports and Tourism Festival (March 21st), on the morning of March 20th, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism organized a conference to launch an electronic booth on the Smart Tourism Portal and to promote and introduce tours and routes within the province.

Over the years, the tourism industry in Thai Binh has received significant attention from the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee in terms of planning, implementation of projects and programs to develop infrastructure, products, and promote tourism, especially for intra-provincial tours. To develop tourist destinations within the province into attractive tourism products, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, in coordination with the Provincial Tourism Association, travel companies, and management boards of tourist areas and sites, has developed diverse and attractive tour programs and actively promoted the image of friendly Thai Binh tourism to domestic and international tourists.

The deployment of e-commerce booths on the Smart Tourism Portal, focusing on travel and accommodation, is one of the ways to promote destination information, convenient services, and reputable providers in the province to tourists. In the future, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism will continue to cooperate with VNPT Business Center - Thai Binh in upgrading the Smart Tourism Portal, creating a user-friendly ecosystem based on the 4.0 digital transformation platform; and simultaneously, encourage travel companies and accommodation establishments to develop e-commerce booths on the Smart Tourism Portal.

At the conference, delegates were introduced to the online booths on the Smart Tourism Portal. Several tourism companies introduced intra-provincial tours for students, tours experiencing cultural and historical destinations, etc.
