According to the Phu Yen Tax Department, the province currently has 780 businesses implementing electronic invoices generated from cash registers, including 479 businesses and 301 business households. Of which, the number of businesses implementing from the beginning of 2024 to present is 472 (271 businesses and 201 business households), exceeding the assigned target.
These businesses and business households mainly operate in the fields of food and beverage, restaurants, hotels, retail of goods in shopping malls, supermarkets, retail of consumer goods, retail of modern medicine, entertainment services; gold trading, gasoline trading, etc.
Previously, based on the review results of the units, Phu Yen Tax Department assigned the target of deploying electronic invoices generated from cash registers in the province in 2024 to the Inspection and Examination Department and affiliated tax branches with a total of 468 establishments (292 enterprises, 176 business households). The Tax Department requested that the implementation progress by the end of the second quarter of 2024 reach 50%, by the end of the third quarter of 2024 reach 70% and by the end of 2024 reach 100% of the number of business establishments subject to deploying electronic invoices generated from cash registers.
From now until the end of the year, Phu Yen Tax Department will continue to coordinate with units to propagate the policy of implementing electronic invoices, electronic invoices generated from cash registers to businesses and business households in the area. At the same time, spread the lucky invoice program to a large number of people to encourage and create a habit for consumers to get invoices when purchasing goods and services, contributing to creating an equal and transparent business environment.
