Press photo exhibition "Hai Phong integration and development" takes place from June 24-30, 2025

(Haiphong.gov.vn) - On the afternoon of June 24, at the Exhibition Hall, the City's Center for Culture, Cinema and Exhibition, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism held the opening ceremony of the press photo exhibition "Hai Phong integration and development".

The exhibition takes place from June 24 to 30, 2025, displaying 300 typical press, documentary and statistical photos, promoting and introducing the outstanding progress of Hai Phong city in the fields of: economy , culture, society, national defense - security, foreign affairs...

The exhibition is an opportunity to look back at the city's impressive progress, and at the same time a valuable opportunity to promote the image of a dynamic and innovative Hai Phong to domestic and international friends. This is also a practical action contributing to the successful implementation of the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress, the Resolution of the 16th National Party Congress of the City and Resolution No. 45-NQ/TW of the Politburo on the development of Hai Phong City to 2030, with a vision to 2045.

Over the years, Hai Phong has always affirmed its position as the leading growth pole of the country. GRDP has continuously led the Northern Coastal region, ranking among the leading groups in the country. In 2024 alone, the city will continue to maintain its position as one of the three largest growth poles in the North, ranking 5th in the country in terms of economic scale, maintaining a double-digit growth rate for more than a decade. Hai Phong is also among the leading groups in the country in attracting FDI, maintaining the top position in the Provincial Competitiveness Index (PCI), Administrative Reform (PAR Index) and people's satisfaction.

Not only an economic bright spot, Hai Phong is also a pioneer in social security policies, caring for people with meritorious services, improving the spiritual life of the people. The system of cultural institutions is invested in a systematic way, cultural, artistic and sports activities are developed richly, rich in the identity of the port city, contributing to creating a modern Hai Phong that is still imbued with tradition.

With great achievements and glorious revolutionary traditions, in May 2025, Hai Phong was honored to receive the noble title "Heroic City" signed by the President - a source of pride and motivation for the city to continue conquering new heights on its journey to the open sea.
