More than 300 ceramic and porcelain products and artworks are on display at the exhibition “Soul of the Earth”, in the exhibition space of Bat Trang Ceramic Joint Stock Company ( Hanoi ), opening on October 8.
The exhibition is organized by the Ho Chi Minh Museum in collaboration with Bat Trang Ceramics Joint Stock Company and the Vietnam Fine Arts Association, to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of the Capital (October 10, 1954 - October 10, 2024) and the 65th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's visit to Bat Trang (1959 - 2024).

The exhibition consists of 3 parts. Part 1 introduces to the public photo documents of President Ho Chi Minh visiting Bat Trang 65 years ago; blue-glazed porcelain and multi-colored porcelain works depicting President Ho Chi Minh in each period and at different historical events.
Some of the artifacts displayed in this space are a porcelain vase of Uncle Ho reading the Declaration of Independence, a porcelain painting of "Uncle Ho is still marching with us", a porcelain plate of Uncle Ho in Pac Bo, a porcelain plate of President Ho Chi Minh visiting and encouraging children on the occasion of the Mid-Autumn Festival...
Part 2 is a collection of ceramic works commemorating the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of the Capital, including vases and paintings depicting images of landmarks and people of Hanoi: Long Bien Bridge, The Huc Bridge, One Pillar Pagoda, Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam, Hanoi Four Seasons...
Part 3 introduces high-end ceramic art works by artists in the Vietnam Fine Arts Association. Each work is like the heartfelt voice that artists and sculptors want to convey to future generations, associated with messages of peace , national traditions, love for people, love for family, love for homeland and country.
According to the Organizing Committee, the exhibition "Soul of the Earth" contributes to honoring traditional cultural values, the quintessence of traditional ceramics, affirming the love for Uncle Ho, the capital Hanoi and the beloved Fatherland of the children of Bat Trang, determined to study and follow the ideology, morality and style of President Ho Chi Minh to bring Bat Trang ceramic products closer to the public, so that every Vietnamese person loves and cherishes the heritage and cultural identity of the nation.
The exhibition runs from now until October 2024.
