The exhibition showcases paintings and ceramics. The artists shared: “Choosing the exhibition title ‘Understanding the Scenery’ means understanding the meaning of the scene in each artwork. Each person approaches painting with different emotions, but they all converge to form a common emotional thread, together reaching a higher level, diversifying, and preserving the meaning within the scene of each ‘heart’.”

The artists, who had previously worked in different fields, all turned to painting. Although they paint different subjects, their paintings all possess a wholesome, fresh energy with bright colors and the good intentions of the artists.
Artist Nguyen Thanh Vu, originally an architecture student, pursued the beauty of heritage across the country when he switched to painting. In this exhibition, he displays works on the theme of consciousness, primarily using images of ocean waves and clouds.

Pham Hai Au depicts the emotions experienced while practicing music as a musician. Qui Phan portrays the places he has visited across the country. Trinh Vuong chooses to depict golden moments in daily life, where light blends with human existence. Meanwhile, Le Trung Hieu pursues the Bien Hoa pottery tradition, showcasing the beauty of ancient artisans.

With their oil paintings, the artists, following the Post-Impressionist style, aim to convey strength, vitality, enthusiasm, youthfulness, and peace through their works. As for the ceramic pieces on display, the young artists hope to spread the beauty and value of traditional Bien Hoa pottery.

The exhibition represents a step forward in terms of materials (both paintings and ceramics), featuring over 80 works on themes such as: natural landscapes of Vietnam (Quí Phan), daily life with family (Trinh Vương), music in painting (Phạm Hải Âu), ancient Biên Hòa ceramic art (Lê Trung Hiếu), and themes of consciousness – reflecting on the human psyche (Nguyễn Thanh Vũ)...
