Visitors to the exhibition "Diem Phung Thi's artistic language - adaptation and creativity".
The exhibition displays original artworks and jewelry by sculptor Diem Phung Thi along with 32 artworks, 5 jewelry sets crafted by generations of visual artists and 60 works created by children. These are works from the creative program "Diem Phung Thi's Artistic Language - Transformation and Creativity" with the participation of 18 visual artists from Hue, Da Nang and Hanoi and 60 children in Hue city.
Director of Hue Museum of Fine Arts Dinh Thi Hoai Trai shared that, inspired by the flexible modular system of sculptor Diem Phung Thi, artists have used appropriate techniques in lines and space combined with the arrangement of artistic language to create a visual structure with Diem Phung Thi's nuances in their works or to tell a new story in today's society. Generations of artists have adapted and created from Diem Phung Thi's artistic language into their own works to show continuity in the flow of art; at the same time, contributing to conveying and spreading Diem Phung Thi's art to the public through works in the forms of painting, sculpture, graphics, and video .

The event also featured a performance of Diem Phung Thi's ao dai collections with applied art, created by the Hue Museum of Fine Arts in collaboration with designer Viet Bao, and a performance of Diem Phung Thi's art jewelry collection created by junior artists.
The talented artist Diem Phung Thi is recognized by the world as the most famous contemporary female sculptor of Vietnam and has a great influence on the world's sculpture art. Her name has gone beyond the territory of Vietnam and is admired by the whole world as one of two Asians named in the Larousse Dictionary - 20th Century Arts (1991), honored as a Corresponding Member of the European Academy of Sciences, Literature and Arts (1992).
The uniqueness of Diem Phung Thi is that she created a type of sculpture based on the assembly and variation of 7 geometric modules. Art critic Ray Mond Cogniat called it a letter, and professor Tran Van Khe called it 7 musical notes, which in Taoist thought are considered as "7 intervals of life" of Diem Phung Thi. With just these 7 letters, Diem Phung Thi created a separate artistic world. A vivid world is formed from the change in size and arrangement of the 7 letters.
