The play is a special stage work, performed with the meaning of promoting exchange and performing arts activities, with the participation of 11 young artists and actors from Ho Chi Minh City and Korea, under the artistic direction and script of young director Lee Tae Gyu.
Inspired by the tragedy of the same name by the great English writer William Shakespeare, the play tells the audience the story of the ill-fated love of two young families, the Tran and the Kim. Two prestigious families, both doing business in the field of software technology and having conflicts from many generations ago.

The pure love of the young couple encountered many obstacles, like the ill-fated love of Romeo and Juliet in the past. Both had to endure much pain and resentment, had to be resilient and strong to prove the power of love, so that in the happy ending they could be together, reunite and reconcile the grudges between the two families.
With a fresh perspective of young people on love, family affection, maternal love, social life and business activities, economic development in the digital age, director Lee Tae Gyu has brought to the Ho Chi Minh City stage new and modern artistic colors in staging style, creating dramatic climaxes...

After nearly two weeks of hard training, young artists and actors from Ho Chi Minh City and Busan - Korea coordinated smoothly, performed well, and spoke both Vietnamese and Korean, helping the audience easily understand and feel the emotions of the story.
The play Romeo and Juliet is also the final performance in the cultural exchange and performance program of artists of the Busan City Theater Association in Ho Chi Minh City.

Closing the exchange, discussion and sharing activities of performing arts, performing two plays , The Joy of Doctor Manh's House and Romeo and Juliet, the leaders of the two cities' performing arts units also shared their expectations and hopes to continue to preserve and promote the connection, and in the future, organize more exchange and performance programs between the two cities.
